Pumpkin Cinnamon Glaze Recipe

This Pumpkin Cinnamon Glaze is the perfect topping for all your favorite fall treats—drizzle it over muffins, cakes, pancakes, or even donuts! It's sweet, spicy, and adds a warm, seasonal flavor that’s irresistible. Here’s a simple and quick recipe you can whip up in just a few minutes.
Prep Time 15 minutes
Course Dessert
Servings 1 cup of pumpkin glaze

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground nutmeg optional
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp milk nut milk works as well

Instructions
 

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium-sized bowl, sift the powdered sugar to avoid lumps. Add in the ground cinnamon (and nutmeg, if using) and whisk them together.
  • Add Wet Ingredients: Stir in the pumpkin puree and vanilla extract. Start by adding 1 tablespoon of milk and whisk the mixture.
  • Adjust Consistency: If the glaze is too thick, gradually add more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until you reach your desired drizzling consistency.
  • Whisk Until Smooth: Whisk the mixture until it's smooth, creamy, and lump-free.
  • Taste & Adjust: Taste your glaze and adjust the flavors to your preference. You can add more cinnamon or vanilla if desired.
  • Let Set: Allow the glaze to set for a few minutes before serving your baked goods.
