Cut the butter into small pieces and grate them and pound it flat with a rolling pin.

The Best Lemon Bread Recipe (Better-Than-Starbucks)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk 2%
- 2 lemon (juice and zest)
- 3 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Pre-heat the oven at 108° C (350° F)
- In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt
- In a separate mixing bowl, whip the butter with sugar for 2-3 minutes using an electric whip.
- Add the eggs, milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice to the butter/sugar and keep whipping.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix well until you have an even cake mix.
- Oil your loaf pan and pour the lemon cake mix.
- Bake in the oven for 50 minutes to an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Take out the oven and let it rest to room temperature on a grill before serving.
